Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your AnimeFit account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to delete your account

From the app

Open Profile → Delete Account and confirm. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

By email

If you can't sign in, email privacy@animefit.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the address before we act. We respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because the subscription is held by whoever you paid, not by us. If you don't cancel, you may continue to be billed.

• Subscribed on the web?Manage or cancel your subscription here — enter your email and we'll send you a link. This works before or after you delete your account.
• Subscribed in the app? Cancel in your App Store(Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play(Play Store → Subscriptions) account. Those subscriptions belong to your Apple or Google account, so they survive deleting your AnimeFit account — and only you can cancel them.

What is deleted

Permanently and immediately:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile, avatar and preferences
• Your training progress, workout history, exercise logs and plan progress
• Your diet, equipment, inventory and badges
• Notification tokens and AI-usage counters
• Your guild memberships, the users you have blocked, and any invitations you sent
• Any guild you own where you are the only member
• Any community ban recorded against you

If you own a guild that still has other members, ownership passes to another member so the guild and their data survive — it is not deleted along with your account.

What is kept, and for how long

Billing records — 24 months

We keep the purchase and subscription records for your transactions, with your name, email and account identifier removed, for 24 months after deletion. They retain only the transaction references issued by Apple, Google or Stripe. We keep them to resolve payment disputes, refunds and chargebacks, which can be raised long after a purchase. They are deleted after 24 months.

Records involving other people — kept, with your identity removed

Some records exist because they involve someone else, so erasing them would erase another person's data or the evidence behind a safety decision. These are kept with any link to you removed, so they no longer identify you:

• Reports you submitted about other users, and reports other users submitted about you
• Moderation decisions you took, if you were a guild owner or administrator
• Lifts you verified for other members — the lift stays on their record, your name does not
• Usage analytics, which is unlinked from your account

What we cannot delete for you

Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records of purchases you made through them, under their own privacy policies and legal retention periods. We cannot delete those on your behalf — contact them directly if you want to.
